Obviously what we've seen from Vivid is set up for whatever the plot is going to be. And the shear AMOUNT Erio has grown is more staggering than the fact that he's grown. He and Caro are 16 in Force, but he's a head and shoulders taller than her.
He graduated from Cute Shotaro Boy to full-on Bishounen.

Re: Non-Naruto Manga Discussion (Topic may include spoilers)
On the subject of One Piece, I will paraphrase TV Tropes and what they had to say for it concerning the "Growing the Beard" trope. In case you do not know, "Growing the beard" is when a series comes into itself and becomes worth watching, fully realizing its potential. Most series start out a bit shaky, then hit their groove, then begin a slow decline if they continue too long. One Piece started out okay, hit its groove about twenty or thirty (I think) episodes in, and over the course of more than 400 episodes hasn't stopped getting better. That may be a bit of an exaggeration...I mean, there are a few weak episodes every now and then, but overall it is correct. It is a really great story, awesome characters, and a really perfect blend between humor, action, and drama. Some of the characters have the saddest backstories I have ever heard... Ahem. Anyway. </fanboyish rant> It's a very good series, and has an archive binge big enough to keep you satisfied for quite some time.

Good for you my friend! I just read the last chapter from FMA. HOLY $&@! does not even starts to describe it. Now I remember why I started taking semestral breaks from reading this manga. The anxiety of having to wait an entire month to read the next chapter after a cliffhanger like this was too much.

I'm only on volume 14 or so of FMA....I don't even know what I'll do when I catch up with the English translations. I am far too lazy to actually look up the manga chapters online. FMA is one of the few manga/anime that I actually buy.

FMA is the first love I never got over and constantly cheat on my new loves with. The ideal no one can ever quite match up with, I'm going to be heart broken when it ends. Normally I don't read much horror, but I'm really enjoying Higurashi right now. It's maddening to keep track of though! I went through all the files, last night to find what I need. Code: The question arcs 1) Onikakushi-hen COMPLETE 2) Watanagashi-hen need ch11+ 3) Tatarigoroshi-hen need ch8+ 4) Himatsubushi-hen. COMPLETE
The answer arcs 1) Meakashi-hen need all 2) Tsumihoroboshi-hen need ch5+ 3) Minagoroshi-hen need ch2,4,6+ 4) Matsuribayashi-hen. need 9+
The side story arcs 1) Onisarashi-hen need ch7+ 2) Yoigoshi-hen COMPLETE 3) Utsutsukowashi-hen Need ch1, 4+ Hinageshi-hen oneshot COMPLETE Have you ever seen a more convoluted series!? I've watched Soul Eater and I tried to read it but it was just too fanservicey, I got like 3 chapters in then got sick of it.

Holy craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap. Anyone who reads One Piece and is up to date on the manga should know what I'm talking about. If you are not one of those people, know this: Holy craaaaaaaaaaap!

Mmm, I really should try that series. I think I'll get some of it when I'm back to high speed. Let's see Higurashi is a kind of cicada, Umineko is... seagulls. Please tell me the kanji for that isn't Sea Cat O_o (hahahaha! one of the subs groups is when sea cats cry! XD) You know the game's been translated, it's 36Euro to buy though. I don't like the art either.

07th Expansion cannot draw. This is a Fact. But it does mean one of the characters has a Trollface.

Re: Non-Naruto Manga Discussion (Topic may include spoilers)
Well I never miss an opportunity to gush about One Piece so here goes: It's the ultimate Adventure Story. As it's Tvtropes page shows it has everything that makes a shonen series awesome. Except Romance but I take that as a sign of how good it is. One Piece doesn't need love It has the awesome power of Friendship. To those up-to-date: I expect a Kamina-class death for Whitebeard. That is the only way he can go. I'm guessing either vengeance for Ace or the complete and total destruction of marineford and a large chunk of their forces. Although I do wonder what the far-reaching consequences of this saga is going to be. Also: ace

I tried to watch the anime and was put off by the awful art style and low animation quality. Which hardly ever happens to me. I give Cheeky Angel six episodes to enthrall me with humor or plot. Out of curiousity, were you able to get into it?

A bit late, but FMA 104? HOLY SHIT!!!!
I picked up D.Grayman again after seeing something that reminded me of it, and my god, that series and FMA are competing for most depressing/awesome series ever. Allen Walker and Ed are so very similar.

The I found it fell into the shounen 'everybody fights everybody' hole and I stopped reading it Maybe I should pick it up again. Try 07-Ghost by the way.

My goodness, I haven't seen any D. Grayman since the level three akuma started appearing...I find myself almost curious as to what happened.

One Piece: Whitebeard. He was too awesome for this world. He died as a man among men.

Dude.
Whitebeard. The man so badass that even in death, he won't go down. Dead and Standing. That's serious, right there. Not to mention that he had no scars on his back. Over a hundred years of life, and he never once turned his back in a fight? Awesome. Of course, I thought the panel where Teach was crowing about taking away Whitebeard's fruit powers, and Whitebeard just cuts through his shoulder with that freaking weapon of his, before grabbing his head, and smashing it into the ground a few times, was pure win.
Kids check under the bed for monsters. Monsters check under the bed for Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris checks under the bed for Whitebeard.

Re: Non-Naruto Manga Discussion (Topic may include spoilers)
Okay, so even though I'm probably the only one who reads both of them, Apparently MGLN ViVid and Fate Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya are going to be doing a crossover.... So a Fate/Stay Night Spin-off is crossing over with a Nanoha Spin-off.... This is either going to be entirely Crazy Awesome, or really, really silly. Heck, maybe both!

I don't know if I'm the only semi-rabid One Piece fan on here right now, but any others who are current will surely agree with me--the excrement is certainly striking the proverbial fan at this point. Holy crap, is it striking that fan.
