How did I never see this thread before?! *hastily starts digging up webcomic links*

http://inverloch.seraph-inn.com/
Inverloch, a fantasy webcomic. Follow the adventures of the da'kor Acheron as he seeks to find a lost child, and soon discovers that not all is as it seems in this world, and elves have many dark secrets...

The Phoenix Requiem, another webcomic by the same author as Inverloch. In a Victorianesque world, a mysterious gentleman stumbles into the small town of Esk with a terrible gunshot wound. The nurse Anya treats him for it, but her kindness brings her to revelations that will force her to question her beliefs and risk her own life to save those she loves.

Four teens. Four cats. Four elements. Four warriors: Panthera.
Panthera is a modern-era sci-fi/fantasy (not sure which it would fall under, probably some of each) webcomic about the adventures of the big-cat-and-elemental-themed teen attack squad known as Panthera, four high school students with the ability to transform into a lion, a tiger, a leopard, and a jaguar, and while in those forms to use the powers of earth, fire, air, and water. As they seek to aid their teacher in his efforts to destroy Ovid, the makers of the Serum 43 that gave the four teenagers their transformative powers, they discover an even deadlier secret, one that will shake the foundations of their lives.

Keychain of Creation is a webcomic created with the intention of being "like The Order of the Stick, but with Exalted." It works pretty well. On seemingly permanent hiatus due to the author's carpal tunnel syndrome, sadly, but what is there is good.

Speaking of The Order of the Stick, it does not seem to be here. Allow me to rectify that.

This is The Order of the Stick. For anyone who has not heard of it, it starts out as a silly comic making jokes about Dungeons & Dragons, but rapidly develops a plot that soon becomes pretty epic. The characters are very aware of the mechanics that run their world, and in some cases, of the narrative devices as well.

http://archipelagocomic.com/comic/?id=1
Archipelago, a fantasy webcomic. The waitress Credenza finds a strange man washed up on the beach with a horrible injury to one of his eyes, babbling nonsensically. Concerned, she takes him to the local (witch) doctor and gets him treated, but she finds that her new friend is not quite what he seems. Mishaps and misfortune soon catch her up in the plots of a great evil, and she finds that even as the one-eyed man is not quite what he seems to be, neither is she.
The first chapter is a bit confusing - it seems to be not quite in chronological order - but after that, things become clearer.

A Miracle of Science is quite possibly the best science fiction webcomic ever. Benjamin Prester works for the Vorstellen Police, tracking down and stopping mad scientists. This is the story of his efforts to stop one in particular, with the help of the Martian police officer Caprice Quevillion. And the best part is, it is complete! You can read the whole story, right now!

Zap!, another science fiction webcomic, chronicling the adventures of the captain and crew of the starship Excelsior. It starts out rather meh, but improves rapidly.

http://www.transposeoperator.com/?p=43
Transpose Operator is about a young woman who awakens in a strange facility with equally strange caretakers.
As she tries to make sense of her situation she finds herself in the middle of a battle between two long warring factions. Warning: horror elements.

http://dream-scar.net/index.php?id=1
Set in a post-modern, alternate reality, Dream*Scar shows a world where unhumans, creatures of myth and lore (vampires, werewolves, dragons, et cetera), live openly amongst humans and are therefore known for a fact to exist. This is not something that has been known for many years - it is new to both humans and unhumans, and so times are slightly chaotic (racism, especially, is rampant). Amidst all this is a girl called Vix. She knows she is an unhuman, and she knows how they are treated. She is lucky; she is merely something of an empath. Her powers are rather unnoticeable, so she is able to hide. But when something goes wrong, and people end up dead, she begins to realize that there is more to her than she can comprehend.

All right, that should be enough for now.
