Updated the list. First to reach the SF-HoG: Enders Game. Definitely one of my favorites.

First to reach the F-HoG: Dresden Files. My favorite series ever, period, hands down. :yuush:

I just finished re-reading Changes in fact and was wondering something. Any of you other dresden fans feel completely exhausted after finishing one of the books? It seems every book finishes with dresden either tired physically and/or emotionally and reading it just sticks.

The DF books are definitely a ride. I remember that when I finished Changes, I drove over to my buddy's house and gave him my copy of the book so he could read it. He put it down on the coffee table and didn't read it until a day and a half later, which means I was sitting on that knowledge and wanted to talk with him about it, but couldn't. So annoying.

Similarly, I just got done with Side Jobs again, specifically Aftermath, and I really liked the story's from different points of view, showing Thomas and Murphy's takes on the world. And apparently, Butcher is going to write enough short stories to make up at least one more anthology like Side Jobs, and I'd like to see a story from Michael's point of view in there. Michael really is one of my favorite characters (and not just so I can point at him and say, "Him. He's the way you should play a Paladin."). Anybody who meets his wife by slaying a dragon (especially since dragons in the Dresden-verse are apparently terrifyingly powerful) is awesome in my book.
