Harry turns his experience as both a player and a DM into a useful, and unexpected, occlumency defense.
Voldemort peered through the mists of the memory he was in. He'd felt his Legimency probe being shunted to one side, and suddenly he found himself here. "Here" was the mountainous region outside of Hogwarts, if that castle was any indication. Through the thick fog, he could hear the sounds of people approaching. Hissing to himself, he drew his wand. But a minor shift in his footing caused a cascade of pebbles to rain down. Time froze as Potter's voice announced.
"You've failed your stealth roll. Roll for initiatvie."
The last thing he saw was a man leaping out of the suddenly clearing fog, a fist extended and surrounded by strange energies. Behind his attacker was a huge group of varying beings, all of them either heavily armed or brandishing magical energy.
"Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — "No, you move."
