Actually, I've talked to Matt (Viridian), and we're going to have a set-up similar to the one for the Shadowrun threads created for this RP. That way we can keep out of play debates separate from the actual RPing, among other things. Should be up some time this weekend.

*Poking though the available missions log* I don't know. It's been a while since I had a good trek outside the village. Anything catch your eye? *shoves mission log over to Yuuhi*

Yuuhi flips past the D-ranks muttering unhappily over the retrieve cat mission being done and skims the C-ranks. "Hm. Escort, Escort, Bandit removal, missing pets, missing people, more escorts, more finding missing crap. B-ranks. More escorts, some tougher bandit removals, serial killer on the loose, assassinations.... A-ranks look about the same." He glances over. "Any of those non-escort B- or A-rank missions sound interesting enough to take a closer look?"

(Ahhhh. Got distracted by PS2 games, moving furniture, Hell's Kitchen, and my laziness. Plus I wasn't too sure what kind of mission would be interesting and might could duo with someone else. And I was expecting us to end up with a separate subforum, given the number of threads we'd likely be spawning over time.)

Oh, here's one. Just a bandit removal, but it's right next to Tanzaku Gai. The semi-official party town of Fire Country. And if we hurry, we'll be there in time for one of the big festivals. I think this is our best bet for having some fun. Even if the mission does seem pretty routine.

(And Phht, I know what you're talking about. Work has been kicking my butt for the past couple days. But I can't really complain, because, you know, I'm getting paid.)

(Assume it as our characters didn't know your character, and if you go around falling through buildings, we don't really want to know you. Besides, this is Konoha, home of the insane, disturbed, and just plain weird. Especially considering that Naruto was apparently Hokage for a fairly long time.)

(Also, as a side note, MEKristian[Shiki], Serbii[Ushio], Faux_blade;)[Ichigo], Random_fan[forgot], and myself were way on the outskirts of Konoha, so we didn't really see it or care. And you did get punched in the back of the head. If you're wanting on one of these missions it'd be best PM the person who's heading it up and you and them can figure out a way to integrate you. Aside from that, what else where you expecting? Most people in stories are normal, and thus make a scene when really weird stuff happens. Most people here are insane, and have probably tried either to do what you did to their younger siblings or already experimented with something similar as a means of travel (the mud-shell!! From here to Wave with a softened impact!). Well, no, just kidding, they haven't, but, as epic as the entrance was, they do stuff like that on the weekends, so they didn't react that much.

If you had landed near the genin, however...

[Actually, waaaaaaay back when we first got the naruto RP going, we used this to quickly figure out who knew who, etc before things actually got going. Since we started other threads going in the "Mission Central" section, this no longer needed to be used. Which is why there's been only one post in it since then other than yours and no responses to it.

The 'canon' plot line is on hiatus until the two non-canon fillers finish though, which makes using the Konoha thread to hop in not too useful at the moment. At which point we'll either a) wrap up the mission that was paused (the reason we're doing non-canon filler), or b) 'shelve' it as "non-canon" and go on as if it never took place (and then re-introduce it back in at a later point as canon and wrap it up at that point). If you want to jump in, you can probably do so in the Tora Trouble mission without issue.]
