So now that I'm definitely back, we only have to worry about MEK being bleh to hold things up (also, just pretend Higure's indicated he's ready and let's roll when able, because I don't feel like doing a one line post just to indicate that).

Alright...as far as the Training thread goes, the current day and the next in the story will be used to establish a schedule of sorts. Changes will likely be made as they learn new things...but it will be mainly offscreen.

I have some ideas for more detailed bits of training, but if you guys have any ideas for your characters during this time then send me a pm or something and it can probably be worked out.

Guys, if we don't get the In Search of Judgment thread moving again, could we relegate it to an AU or OVA or something? I'd like to get Itsuki involved in some of the other stuff that's going on.

You think our little elite genin would have ever used the obstacle courses and facilities of the Shinobi Training Center? I figure running an advanced obstacle course for military ninja is something they wouldn't be used to and at length it'd leave them exhausted. Good way to end the day.

Or Nishi can just force them to fight him until they're exhausted and walking bruises.

I do have a few ideas for bits we can do during the training period if you guys are interested. Of course they'll be improving their basic skills: sogoujutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu (at least detection/defense anyway), survival, and mission planning during their training and going on missions. But I do have other ideas.

-Day of Ichigo's date (cuteness, teenage hormones, and possible wacky hijinks)
-Day at the hot springs (more wackiness ensues)
-Dance lessons (don't laugh, this one is serious training)
-Meditation training (seeking enlightenment...kinda)
-Out of town mission (I don't know what just yet...)

Well, as students, maybe. Probably not the 'end of course' ones for military ninja, but there are probably some ones that Academy students do at some point. Oooh, maybe one like Sakura uses in Deadly Decisions? In case you're wondering what the 'end of course' obstacle courses are for military ninja, think of the one we see in Naruto: Captured during the remedial training; it uses tree climbing and water walking concepts extensively and in non-walking fashions.

Genin could probably make use of the courses either before or after school hours if they choose to, but generally don't since their jounin-sensei ought to be training them sufficiently that they wouldn't need to (or maybe wouldn't have the time to) go do the course themselves. I'm sure jounin-sensei could check the use schedule for the courses if they wanted to put their minions through it during school hours so as not to conflict with class use (or to put the team through it with a bunch of students watching with the instructor's permission).

Hot springs wackiness shouldn't be passed up! But maybe use it as a reward at a mid- or late-point in the two month training period.

Probably in a late-point of the training period as a reward and to ease their nerves before the exams.

Of course other characters can show up too.

I forgot to note. As of the my last post in the Wandering the town thread, Taru is on a run through the various training grounds. Should anyone wish to pull him into something before the day gets late or ends, go for it and I'll play along.

Ugh, I hope I described the second day enough. When I said the rest of the week was a "similar pattern" as the first two days in my post not all the training will be the same. Some of the physical training would be consistent, but there's also room for variety, especially with spars.

Also I was thinking for the keep the ANBU out of trouble team that Ichigo would have suggested that Ushio take Hai while he takes the eyeball two, that way they don't end up with injury teammates between training time. And I'm guessing everyone is waiting on me to post there, right?

Sure, post away. I dunno what we should be doing XD, I strted somethign then realsed time had passed, but we could go from that point anyway? I dunno, whatever.

Ushio lives in an unit with her mother, Hotaru lives with her family in a house. She's branch family decended so it'd be in a Hyuuga-heavy neighbourhood rather than the main compound I guess.

Either way both have enough floor space to take people when it's their turns.

The where of it isn't really important, it's the who. Just as long as each person has each of their teammate's as a roommate for a couple weeks during the training. That can happen without anyone staying at Hai's place, for example, so long as Hai is staying at someone else's place.

Starting Saturday I'll be camping and unable to get online or post for about a week. I'll be able to post next weekend, perhaps by next Friday, though I can't say for sure.

I guess we could if you all want to. You guys could recap how the rest of date went (baby being born, afterward, etc.), and the rest of the day for everyone else.

If you guys choose that I could provide a few details as well.

In case anyone doesn't know, the training for the exams thread is about to get to a Hot Springs scene.* It will take place days before the chuunin exams, which doesn't conflict with what any characters are doing right now. So, anyone that wants in on Hot Springs comedy, etc. just say so.

*I'm getting around to it, I swear!

Itsuki is once again a free agent, so if anyone is interested in rolling him into a mission, just let me know. Until then he's going to be on the training grounds working on upping his reserves even more. That last mission, the fact that a ninjutsu-specialist was reduced to throwing kunai, was a disgrace in his eyes. He knows that it's possible for someone without a bijuu in them to develop insane chakra reserves thanks to Kiasame, and he's going to be putting his all into hitting those levels now. His new goal for the future is to be to Ninjutsu what Maito Gai and Rock Lee were/are to Taijutsu.

First, thanks to spudman and the mod(s) that handled a problem that put me on an involuntary vacation from the forum for close to two weeks.

Second, Chunin Exams and Jounin Exams are coming up. Need to know what active genin are still around so we can figure teams. First and third stages are planned out, second stage has some more work to be done. Monday or so I'll be going through the characters thread looking for edits/etc and updating the wiki (alternately, if you're a member of the wiki, update your own profile there too). At that time, I'll also be coming up with a list of chunin/special jounin that might be viable jounin candidates (since Jounin Exams will start about the same time as Chunin Exams).

Current Chunin Exam candidates (that were active at some point in the exam training thread) Current Jounin Exam candidates (not really counting active-ness at the moment) Currently, I'm expecting the Jounin Exam to not actually be covered though that is subject to change as we get closer.
