Team TYPI: The First Week

"Doing great, Yasuragi-san. I was a little lightheaded when I woke up today, but it faded quickly. I'm a bit worried about the itinerary for today, though."

"Why's that Toshizo-san?"

Miyu's focus sharpens.
"Oh? Why are you worried?"

Toshizo looks a little nervous. "Oh, if there was physical workouts in the agenda, I just didn't want to look lazy, is all."

[Aldraia Dragonsong]

The temperature seems to drop a little.
"If either of you have any intention of hampering Yamanaka-san's recovery, I will be very upset," Miyu says calmly.

Tatsumaru sweat drops a little.

"This is supposed to just be a team briefing. If people want to work after I won't stop them. But I'm not forcing them either."

Toshizo actually takes a step back from the very scary kunoichi. "No, no, Yasuragi-san. I would never go against medical recommendation. Honest."

[Aldraia Dragonsong]

The temperature seems to return to normal and Miyu smiles politely.
"Well, all right then."

Well...guess she still has the ability to put people in their place after all.
Tatsumaru thinks.
Tatsumaru gives a wry smile

Taru wanders into the training ground a couple of minutes short of nine o'clock, a scroll open in his hands, reading as he walks, and muttering under his breath in a barely audible whisper.

"Gah, size issues are gonna be a bitch for this. I'm going to need a open empty room to lay out the seal, and the chakra requirements..."

He grimaces at that thought.

I'm not going to get more than one or two of these.

Walking up to where the rest of the team is standing, Taru pockets the scroll and greets them.

"Hello Miyu-san, Tatsumaru-san."

He smiles at Toshizo and slaps him on the back.

"Hey Toshi! How you feeling?"

[Aldraia Dragonsong]

"Good morning, Taru-san," Miyu says politely.

"Gah!" When Taru slapped him on the back, it felt like he drove a kunai in between his shoulder blades. "Ow! I guess that answers that question, Taru!"

[Aldraia Dragonsong]

Miyu frowns.
"If you are that sore, you should sit down so as not to strain your legs."

Taru grimaces when Toshizo reacts so strongly and rubs the back of his own head with one hand.

"Oops. Sorry Toshi. I didn't mean to hurt you. You alright?"

"No, I don't need to sit down. It's just my neck and shoulder blades are more tender than the rest of my body." Toshizo looks at Taru. "It's okay, Taru. I know you didn't mean it."

"Good morning Taru-san. Now I don't intend for anyone to train today. However there are some things we need to talk about."

Tatsumaru makes sure he can see everyone.
"We are to be a retrieval team. You all know what that means. Breaking and Entering for fun and profit. Along with theft and the occasional murder if the situation warrants it. Still I've looked at your files but I want to know what roles you each see yourselves as doing."

Tatsumaru gives them a confident grin.

"For the record I am Tatsumaru of Aki. I specialize in kenjutsu for the most part. I will primarily be the man who makes the distraction as we need it."

Taru returns the grin, and looking around, decides to go first.

"My name is Taru of Oni. I specialize in infiltration and scouting. I would probably handle long range support or assassination and the occasional infiltration role. Most of my skill focuses on my archery and sealing, but I've been working on improving my ninjutsu and adding a bit of kenjutsu."

After waiting a bit to see if Miyu would like to go next, Toshizo speaks up. "I'm Yamanaka Toshizo. I specialize in retrieval, mind techniques, and earth techniques. My roles would probably be covert infiltration through the Shintenshin, and/or non lethal incapacitation of obstacles."

[Aldraia Dragonsong]

Miyu listened carefully to her teammates' responses before speaking herself.
"My name is Yasuragi Miyu. My specializations are genjutsu and medical ninjutsu. I expect my primary role will be as the team's medic."

Tatsumaru nods already mentally dividing the team into roles.

"Alright then. Now our orders are to be ready for missions by the end of the week. Do you guys think we can do that?"

"Uh, well, that's cutting it a little close, but I should be fine for duty by then."

[Aldraia Dragonsong]

"If nothing interferes with Yamanaka-san's recovery, it should be possible," says Miyu. "Though as Yamanaka-san says, that is cutting it close."

Taru nods.

"Sure, I can be ready to go by then."

[gman391]

"Good. Now I'm going to try and work us all up a bit before then. Even you Toshizo-san. Although not today obviously. But today is just so we can get to know each other. So do you have any questions of me?"

[Aldraia Dragonsong]

"Are you still afraid of chrysanthemums?" Miyu asks instantly.
