oog:
Welcome to the party!

Part of our charm, I think, is that this is a really small forum, compared to anywhere else, so less drama. Course, that also sometimes means we don't have a whole lot of voting.
huge kudos for what is, frankly, one of the most consistent from-scratch systems I've ever seen, even if d7s are involved.
d7s (and d13s) for your Visions are actually a thematic choice. They're arc numbers for KH, so I decided to include them somehow.

Also, it's funny you should mention the system.

For a while now, I've been somewhat frustrated by KHVD's current mechanics. There are certain things I put into it that turned out to bite me where the sun doesn't shine. For the past... year, or two, I think... I've been molding a new system based on KHVD's system - KHT (or Kingdom Hearts Tabletop) - to make a system that more closely resembles KH. I've been working with most of the folks who actually participate here to try and get it working more smoothly. The plan has been to eventually replace KHVD's current system with KHT.

That plan is almost to fruition: at the end of this arc - Brainiac's invasion of Traverse Town - I'll be making the jump to KHT. It has a number of differences from KHVD, but the more things change, the more things stay the same. At the very least, Minor Party Members, Visions, and Inspirations will continue to generally function the same as usual.
I'm slightly confused as to what, exactly, constitutes a full turn
As things currently are, the best way to put it is that you have a main action (simply attacking, using a Command/Spell, changing your weapon), which you can only use one of, and side actions (Activating Limits/Limit Breaks, talking, doing things that don't really fit into the Main actions), which you (within reason) can use as many of as you like. Generally, I take whatever plan the players have put together and translate it into that context. I generally let folks know when their plan is unworkable because of mechanics.

Finally, if you wanna hang out with the majority of the players and discuss strategy and KH in general, we have a Skype for that: just look for james.the.fox on Skype, shoot me a friend request (letting me know you're here about KHVD), and I'll add you to our thread.

ig:
Day 49
Traverse Town
Time - Endless Night

Round 6
Spoiler: show
Sora: Limit -> Fired Up!
ATK:18+4+2+3=27 (1 Hit! 2 Damage!)
Aero Sword has dissipated.

Riku: Attack -> Metal Face BRAIN
ATK: 15+4+1=20 (Miss)

CLAYMORE: CLAYMORE Strike -> Metal Face Brain
ATK: 5+5+6+1=17

Metal Face Brain:Command -> Recharge
All Commands Refilled!
DEF: ??+?=24
Metal Face laughs as Riku lunges at him in anger, handily evading his attacks, as the strange green lines along his body speed up for a few seconds. "AHAHAHA! I can't believe you ever thought you had a chance, boy! I'm-"

You pick that moment to slam into him, scratching his armor with your blade. The wind aura around the Keyblade fades as you launch away from him, landing next to Riku. You stumble a bit. That hurts!

"Sora...!" Riku asks.

"I'm fine. I can still fight." You grin against the pain. "What was that this guy was saying? Something about us not having a chance?"

Riku nods.

"Let's prove him wrong."

Riku raises an eyebrow. "You got a plan?"

"Yeah. Can you hold him for me?"

"... Psh. What kind of question is that?" Riku grins.

Round 7
Spoiler: show
Sora: Spell -> Aero Blade
MAG: 9+2+2=13
Aero Sword Active! +4 Attack. All blows do 1+1 damage, and are Magical and Wind Element. Lasts 2 successful ATK rolls.

Riku: Limit -> Strength to Protect
Command -> Cover+ -> Sora
DEF: 19+8+4=31

Metal Face BRAIN: Command -> Super Hell Dive Claw -> Sora Riku
ATK: Riku is laughing at you. (MISS)
Vision
Spoiler: show
Your world shifts to that of the Vision you saw earlier - but this time, Riku has been replaced with a large, muscular redhead, who is standing between you and Metal Face.

"You ain't so tough!" The redhead shouts. "Ain't no way you're getting anywhere close to Shulk!"
The world shifts back to normal, revealing Riku standing in place, having caught his enemy's attack with his blade, holding Metal Face back with ease.

"What's the matter, big guy?" Riku grins. "Not feeling it?"

"Why you...!"

You grin as you focus your magic into the Keyblade. Here goes...!

Vision
Spoiler: show
Metal Face leaps back, and charges his horn again. "Be a good boy and die!" The blast approaches, but Riku slams into it.

"Like I said... You're won't lay another finger on my friend!"

Riku breaks the blast into two, which fly harmlessly past him and you. One slams into a candy kiosk, sending delicious treats everywhere, and the other lands right in the middle of a bunch of enemies, wiping them all out.

You finish charging, and launch at the enemy, giving it everything you have. While you see yourself get past his defenses and hit with your intended attack, you note there are several blind spots, alternate routes you can take to hit the foe in more vital-seeming areas.
Round 8
Spoiler: show
Sora: Vision -> Seer's Blade
Limit Break -> Final Effort
Command Chain -> Icebreaker + Quick Blitz + Sliding Dash -> Glacier Breaker
Ice ATK: 18+4+4+6+6=38 (5 Hits! 10 Damage!)
Fire ATK: 18+4+6+6=34 (4 Hits! 8 Damage!)

Ice ATK: 36+4+4+6+6=56 (9 Hits! 18 Damage!)
Fire ATK: 36+4+6+6=52 (8 Hits! 16 Damage!)
Aero Sword has dissipated.

Riku: Command -> Cover+ -> Sora
DEF:19+4+6=29

Metal Face BRAIN: Command -> Grand Shot -> SoraRiku and Riku
MAG:??+?= Riku continues to laugh at you.
DEF: ??+?=20
You launch into an attack as soon as you're finished charging, the moment you know that Riku's got the laser attack handled.

You use the blazing light of the blast to sneak in close, and slash upwards. By the time Metal Face turns his gaze to see you, it's too late. He puts up a token resistance to your attack, but is nonetheless covered in a flurry of ice and wind. Within seconds, you've formed a large hunk of ice, and Metal Face is right in the center.

You leap upwards, and come crashing back down with a fiery blade, smashing the glacier you've created into a thousand pieces. Metal and ice fall hand in hand, and you see that his armor is in bad shape. Chunks of it are missing, and he seems to be having trouble keeping his balance. There are still pieces of ice attached to him. His torso, though, appears to be still relatively intact. From what you can tell, it's more heavily reinforced than the rest of the body.
A lot of the ice has melted, dousing him in water.
"Yoooouuuu... I-I just had a paint job!" he screeches at you. "I'm going to kill you!"

Battle Results So Far:
Sora: 29/50 HP, 7/19 MP
Riku: 52/60 HP, 5/15 MP

CLAYMORE System: 1/3 PG.
CLAYMORE Strike (Imperfect): The CLAYMORE system makes an attack. Its base ATK stat is 5, plus 1d6 for every point in its Party Gauge. Empties the Claymore's Party Gauge.

Metal Face BRAIN: ??/?? HP (Took 41 Damage), ??/?? MP (Used 5 MP)

So... Riku still has two attacks with Ruin Sword (I think all earlier attacks missed), and our foe might have a little issue with lightning right now... Riku's Shockbreaker might be pretty effective at the moment.

Problem is that Riku's attack is low compared to this guy's def. Any context command we can use to boost Riku's attack? Flank, blocking his view of Riku, taunting the guy so he ignores Riku or something like that?

The other option would be to go for another round of Fired Up + Aero Sword, then Berserk, attack and Final Effort (possibly with another Vision), but if MF is only angry about the paint job (could be a bluff, seeing how he's staggering, but on the other hand, his torso is relatively intact), that might not be enough.

Actually, one of Riku's attacks did hit, back on Turn Four. Fortunately, Shockbreaker's Electrical attack is it's first one.

Wait, hang on...
Brainiac's invasion of Traverse Town
Brainiac? When did he get control of the Mechon?

ig: I'd say our best bet (for now, anyway) is to use Fired Up again, cast Aero Sword, then go Berserk, preferably with another Vision right before the Limit Break. With Riku using Strength to Protect and going by what we saw of Metal Face's Attack and Magic, the only way I can see him getting past Riku right now is if he has a command that makes his attack guaranteed to hit.

EDIT: Um, James? I think you forgot to count the damage Sora did on Turn Six. If I'm counting right, we should have done 41 damage.

Command -> Hell Dive Claw -> Riku
ATK: HAH WHAT A BUNCH OF JOKEHS (Miss)
"HRRAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!"

Metal Face's attack is stopped from slicing you up by Riku, who catches the attack with his sword, pushing back the giant. Panting from the exertion, Riku looks back at you.

"Got any more bright ideas?"

"... One or two." You charge your Keyblade back up with magic.

Round 10:
Spoiler: show
Sora: Command -> Berserk

Riku: Command -> Cover+ -> Sora

Metal Face BRAIN: Command -> Quick Blitz
ATK: ?+1+?=25
DEF: ?+?=21
You draw up your inner strength, letting your natural instinct to overwhelm you. If nothing else works... you'll hit this thing until it stops moving!

Riku blocks another attack, though it appears to be close.

"GET. OUT. OF. MY. WAY!" Metal Face roars.

"You first!" Riku growls back, striking back, pushing the foe back just a little.

"THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE-" Metal Face is suddenly struck in the head by a shield, which bounces back towards its wielder. "Whuh?"

Goofy catches the shield. "Sorry we're late!"

"Sora! Riku!" Kairi calls out. Your heart stops for a moment - your Vision! Is it...!?

Vision
Spoiler: show
Your vision shifts back to that place, to those other people fighting Metal Face. Your... his allies are down for the count. He advances on... Shulk, you guess, but is hit by a blast from behind. A machine rolls into view, its gun smoking.

"Everyone! Get away right now!" calls the woman in the machine.

"Fiora!?" murmurs one of the men laying before you. The girl charges, and suddenly, your vision shifts blue, and seems to cut a little, in a way different from what you are used to - showing the machine downed, and Metal face thrusting his claw into the machine, before returning to the moment the girl begins her charge.

"Wha... what did I just...?" Says a voice right on top of you - this Shulk guy? "Fiora! Get back!"

"I won't let you hurt any more people... We will save Colony 9!"

She puts up a good fight... but in the end...

"Fiora! Get out of here! Run!"

Her fate could not be changed.

"NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
"Kairi, stay back!" The words slip out of your mouth as you turn to face her, and you feel sick.

"No way! I'm not sitting on the sidelines when you look like that!" Kairi says, noting the wound in your side from being impaled by Metal Face. She readies her staff, charging water magic at the tip, then swings the staff downwards, and a torrent of water rains upon Metal Face.

"Grrr..." Metal Face growls. "Thanks for the bath, but I'm-"

"Without us, you mean!" Donald adds, dropping lightning into the mix. The electricity flows through Metal Face's body, and he writhes from the assault.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"

You ready yourself. As soon as it's safe to charge in there... you have to end this now!

"You..." Metal Face manages as the deluge ends.

Vision:
Spoiler: show
"You ants need to learn when you've been stepped on!" Metal Face says balefully, rising to his full height as the water and lightning fade. Another deluge of water smashes into him, and you see healing light surround you as you begin your assault. But it's... not enough. At this rate...!
Round 11:
Spoiler: show
Sora: Vision -> Seer's Blade
Limit Break -> Final Effort!
Attack -> Metal Face
ATK: 18+12+12+4=38 (6 Hits, 12 Damage)
ATK: 36+12+12+4=60 (12 Hits, 24 Damage!)

Riku: Command -> Cover -> Sora
DEF: 19+6=25

Kairi: Spell -> Water Drop -> Metal Face BRAIN
MAG: 18+4=24
Waterja Drop Cast! 4 Damage! Metal Face BRAIN suffered Damp2.

Donald: Spell -> Cure Restore -> Sora
MAG: 19+1=20
Sora regained 17 HP!

Goofy: Command -> Cover+ -> Donald
DEF:19+4=23

Metal Face BRAIN: Command -> Recharge
DEF: ?+?=20
"You ants need to learn when you've been stepped on!" Metal Face says balefully, rising to his full height as the water and lightning fade.

"Only one of us needs to learn that!" You leap at him as Kairi's second deluge ends, ramming the Keyblade into his chest, before launching from there to land a few feet away. You leave several scratches and a deep dent. As you land, healing magic surrounds you.

But only one thought runs through your mind - a fear that can't be uprooted: if this fight continues... then Kairi...

NO!

You leap again, just soon enough to get past Metal Face's guard once more. With all your strength, you slash at the machine's body, and come out on the other side.

"What!? No! This can't be happening! Not like thi-" His voice cuts off, and changes. "FATAL ERROR. SENDING DATA TO SOURCE. INITIATING SELF DESTRUCTION..."

You land, and Metal Face's upper half hits the ground, before both halves explode.

Battle Results:
Sora: 46/50 HP, 2/19 MP
Riku: 52/60 HP, 5/15 MP

Kairi: 40/45 HP, 18/27 MP
Donald: 26/30 HP, 9/23 MP
Goofy: 66/70 HP, 4/4 MP

CLAYMORE System: 2/3 PG.

Metal Face BRAIN: ??/?? HP (Took 86 Damage), ??/?? MP (Used 5 MP)

The party received 81 EXP.
Kairi Leveled Up! She gained 1 DEF!
Goofy Leveled Up! He gained 1 ATK!

You fall to your knees. It's done... that future... can't happen.

Looking back... that Vision must have been lying. The wrong girl was hit earlier on, after all.

But in the end, you had been consumed by fear. It became the only thing you could think of. And those visions during the battle... felt so... different. You spent half that battle somewhere else.

"... Sora? You okay?" Kairi asks.

You're still trembling.

Support Eighth District: "The civilians have been escorted out. Time to take this fight to them!"
Support Joshua's Club: "Hm. This might actually be a problem." "HOW CAN YOU BE SO CALM, DUDE!?" "It's really quite simple. After all, I didn't come this far just to see my friends die again."

Are we okay? That's a tough question. This is the first time our Visions have affected us so strongly in such a dangerous situation (I don't count the Space Fog knocking us out). And we saw some pretty traumatic stuff, not to mention that if Kairi, Donald, and Goofy hadn't shown up when they did, we might have died.

But at the same time, we pulled it off. We changed our fates, we defied the future. We beat Metal Face, against all odds. We went in to be heroes, and we were, with the help of our friends. So are we okay? We will be. Maybe we aren't right now, but we will be, and we can have a breakdown after the invasion is over if we really need one.

Besides, there's more to do. That fight took a lot out of us, but I think we can push on for a little while longer, at least. The Eighth District seems to have things well in hand, if the civilians have been evacuated and they're taking the fight to the invaders, so I think we can leave them to it. The chatter coming from the First District was initially alarming, but Deadpool doesn't seem very concerned, and we know how good of a fighter he is from the Tournament, so I think we can assume he has it well in hand.

"I have my hand in hand until I can get it reattached!"

That's nice, Deadpool. In Ninth District, they seem to have a lot of invaders pressing them, but Rinoa doesn't seem worried about Merlin's barriers breaking, so I think we have to hope she's right about their strength.

That leaves Joshua's Club and helping Merlin finish the upgrades on the CLAYMORE system. Anything that makes Joshua concerned is probably pretty serious (I suspect another boss monster), but he's also not calling for backup either, and he's smart enough to do so if it's necessary. Similarly, he's not about to see his friends die, and he's smart enough to retreat if things end up more than he can handle.

While we do have a personal connection to Joshua and the other Players, we also know that they're pretty darn strong, and certainly able to hold their own in a fight. And ultimately, if it means upgrading the CLAYMORE system, something that will help out all the Districts, Joshua's Club may be a necessary sacrifice.

I recommend sending all five Party members to the Third District in order to help Merlin's Magical Upgrades - Let's IMPROVE it! Also, while Donald is his own duck and can be responsible for his own MP needs, he might want to look into using an Ether to bolster his reserves. Also, we should ask Donald if Sora can use one of his Ethers. I imagine helping Merlin will be more small fry than another big boss monster, but bumping up our MP is probably a good idea just in case.

oog: Well, goodbye Metal Face. What was up with him at the end there? What, exactly, did Brainiac do to him?

ig: Send Sora and Riku to support the First District, it sounds like things are getting out of hand over there. Meanwhile, while I'd like to send the others to support the club, it sounds like they've got things at least somewhat under control, Merlin's Upgrades are more important, I'm pretty sure we need Donald for that, and I'd rather not split the group up more than it already has been. So send Kairi, Donald and Goofy to the Third District to get those runes.

I think Mr. Rigger is correct. We need to shunt any potential emotional breakdowns aside for the moment; after all is said and done, this is still an active warzone. To that end, no rest for the wicked: let's go help Merlin. Frankly, between Dumbles and Deadpool, I have no concerns about their district (Deadpool is, well, Deadpool, and Dumbledore...you don't get to be the Supreme Mugwump and an Accredited Transfigurations Master by collecting bottlecaps. Even in his old age, there are minor gods who would do well to be wary of the Headmaster.)

Splitting the party seems contraindicated; we function best as a single unit, being able to cover for each other's weaknesses. The only other district that might be in trouble is Joshua's, and he's a big boy. That said, if we have any spare time after we upgrade the CLAYMORE, it would perhaps be in everyone's best interests to poke our noses in that direction. Those, however are decisions for Future Sora&Co, and Present Sora&Co needs to be getting on with the helping of the Merlin, I feel.

Let's see... First District sounds like it's getting worse (but as Rigger said, Deadpool (on the other hand, he did apparently lose an arm, so something there must be strong enough to hurt him)). Eighth District is doing fine. Joshua's Club... I hope that's not setting up a heroic sacrifice. Merlin's Magical Upgrades is probably important, but not necessarily critical right now.

I'm mostly tempted to go with plan JAG for now, though I would probably use a different distribution of characters. At First District, we can expect the situation to be pretty bad, so we should go in force. At Merlin's place, there should be fewer problems, so three people might be overkill.

Maybe Sora, Riku, Kairi for First, Donald and Goofy for Merlin?

Going to stand behind Ris' plan. The other areas appear to be getting overrun with mooks, but Wade seems to be having some really bad trouble, to the point that even Pinkie is worried. Getting those runes to the control station is vital, but Wade, Pinkie and Albus may not have that much time left. So ask Donald for an ether or two, then split up again and haul ass to bail Wade out, while Donald an Goofy get those runes to where they need to go.

You know, as much as I hate to invalidate my lovely post up above, when read all together, First District does seem like it's going to hell.
Support First District: "Hey, uh... is this on?" "Yeah, it's on alright. See? The little blinky thing's going." "Nice! Dumbly's wardy things are holding up okay, but he says they're under a lot of stress. We miiiight need some help over here."

Support First District: "... Uhhh... Uh oh." "Prepare yourselves, Wade, Pinkie!"

Support First District: "AW, MAN! MY ARM!" "WADIE!" "Ah well. It's why I wear red."
With the full context, as much as I think getting the CLAYMORE system upgraded is a seriously important priority, First District does seem like it's getting ready to fall, and we don't want to see Pinkie Pie and Dumbledore go down with it. Deadpool too, I suppose.

Thank you.

I now throw my support behind Ristridin's plan, as long as we ask Donald for an Ether or two. Sora, Riku, and Kairi to First District, Donald and Goofy to Merlin. Hopefully we don't come across another Metal Face.

Can we coordinate the defenders of District 8 to cover Joshua and co as we go to support Dumbledore? Where are they anyway?

Is it possible for us to grab Buttercup's body from the sewers quickly before we go? Something to use as rope, jump in, be pulled out? She died defending the town, at least we can get her a proper burial and if she wasn't dead and got turned into a heartless her sisters deserve warning... Hey, are those that survive the loss of their home-world and make it to Tranverse Town, more or less likely to become Nobodies?

Oh yes, Support District 1. After all this is over though, if we can't recover Buttercup's body now, we need to make sure it is before we leave Tranverse. Just to make sure that we don't have another above average heartless running around.

Unfortunately, the people defending District 8 are NPCs, and we have no control over their actions. While I am inclined to agree that it might be better for them to go support Joshua's club than it is to take the fight to the invaders, we aren't in charge of them.

As for Buttercup, it's not possible for us to go get her body from the sewers, partially because I think that would take a lot of time we don't have at the moment, but mostly because Buttercup would object. She's rather self-sufficient, and also not dead.

Well, I hope the NPC's move to reinforce the other districts then. Thanks for the information.

oog: The folks at Eighth are busy pushing back the invaders in their district. Traverse Town's military might is spread out by necessity. You guys are pretty much the most mobile force in the town - one of the few absolutely on hand to come to others' aid.

Unrelated, but I noticed that your MP was higher than it should have been. Ah well.

Technically, Sora has no idea if she's dead or not, but I would have made it very clear if she died. Also, as I've stated in a previous post, we have a chat thread on skype that anyone's free to join - just send me a PM via the VD forums with your Skype name, and I'll send you a friend request on Skype so you can jump in and talk with everyone in real time. Thus far, I think only you and JAGwin are the only players who haven't yet joined the Skype thread.

ig:
Day 49
Traverse Town
Time - Endless Night

You pick yourself up. "... I'll be fine..." You manage a smile back at Kairi. "What happened at Eighth?"

Kairi frowns, but answers anyway. "Well, we helped the teacher at the preschool and the families who were holed up there get to safety. Everyone else was trying to clear up the foes in the district when we headed off to find you guys."
Riku and Donald are having their own conversation, checking near the huge hole that Metal Face made. Goofy leaps out and shrugs. Riku tilts his head.
"Sorry for making you worry."

"Don't mention it," Kairi says. "... I'm the one who should be saying that."

"The girl Metal Face slammed into the ground... she's not down there," Riku says, walking up to the group. "She... must have gotten washed away by the sewer river..."

There's a short silence between the lot of you, and the sounds of battle and chatter via intercom echo in your ears.

"... We... we can't waste time looking for her. Other people need us," Riku says at last.

"... Yeah..." You reply.

"EEEAAAAGGGHHHH MY ARRRRMMMMMM WHHYYY, OH CRUEL WORLD WHYYYY!!?" Deadpool's voice comes out of the intercom.

"Wadie!" Pinkie calls out.

"Eeeessshh. You could say that things are getting out of hand!"

"... Heheheh! I... guess there's nothing up your sleeve now?"

"Whoa whoa whoa, too soon!"

"Oh, uh, sorry. I thought-"

"Look, when you lose a limb, you're free to make jokes about it all you want."

You hear Mr. Dumbledore's sigh. "We may be in need of some assistance."

"Yeah, we could really use a hand!"

"... Case in point." Donald says.

"Hello, this is Merlin! I've completed the rune array we needed. Can someone come and pick them up?"

Donald grabs the comm system. "We're on our way!"

"To who?" Both Merlin and Dumbledore ask.

"... Uhhh..."

"Both!" Riku says. "Kairi, Sora, and I are on our way to you guys. Donald, Goofy, can you handle Merlin?"

"Yep," Goofy says. "You guys take care of yourselves!"

"Right!"

The five of you start making your way through the army.

Fountain Plaza...
(The party as a whole received... 1 Damage! Sora was the one to take it!)
(Riku found a treasure chest! Inside, there was a Spirit Gem!)
(Donald used two Ethers! He is at 4 ODP! Donald is suffering Minor Potion Sickness! -2 to all rolls!)

Back Alleys...
(The party as a whole received... 12 Damage! Sora took 2, Riku took 4, Kairi took 3, Goofy took 3.)
(Donald passed Sora two Ethers! He's now at 4 ODP!)

Eventually, you make it to First District... only for a pink blur to slam into the wall next to you.

"... Owww..." Pinkie struggles to get up, then collapses. "... Can't... go... on... Oh hey guys!" She pops back to her feet, though she stumbles a bit. She's covered in scratches and bruises. Her mane's a lot shorter than it was, and it doesn't look to have been a planned cut. "The cavalry's arrived!"

"Sup?" Deadpool says... You stare at his head. Which is on top of the remains of an outdoor table.

His body's a few feet away. Missing an arm.

"What the..." You start.

"Trust me, not as bad as it looks. But... uh... could you grab my head and put it back on my body?"

"Do hurry," Mr. Dumbledore says, holding up a small, cracking barrier against a number of machines. You can see a huge pile of scrap metal behind them. One has Deadpool's hand impaled on its leg.

Riku rushes over, grabs Deadpool's head with a grimace, and carefully puts it back on his body. With a strange squelching sound, Deadpool gets back up, looking more or less okay... except for the missing arm.

"Thanks, bub." He grins cheekily for some reason.

Donald and Goofy look at you three. "You guys sure you'll be okay?" Donald asks.

"Yeah... I think," Riku says. "You go do your thing!"

The two run off, while everyone else gets into a battle position, as Dumbledore's barrier starts to collapse. A giant robot steps forward, crushing a few of its fellows, and punches the barrier, shattering it.

Let's start off with Party Cannon and Bang-Ba-Dang.

Also, let's see how strong this Titan is before using up our commands. I suggest using Mighty Guard (with Kairi being the LP provider, since she won't be using her other Limit probably). Both to protect against the Titan, and to protect against the swarm tactics.

I support this plan. And if Riku happens to pop Sfumato, we can laugh as the enemies whiff every attack.

I support plan Ris.
"Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — "No, you move."

The amount necessary to level up increases as characters level up, and Sora has recently passed the first experience increase threshold.

With the most recent change (James coming to his senses and nerfing Bang-Ba-Bang to a more reasonable level), I think we should reevaluate having Deadpool use it. While 3 attacks at 20 would definitely hit the Soldiers, it doesn't have the board-clearing potential that 3d6 attacks at 20 does.

3 PG is enough for one use of THIS IS MY HYPER COMBO, however, and having clarified with James how the effects work, there's basically no downside for using it in the first round of the fight.

Effect 1: Soldiers get their HP and MP swapped, relatively little difference, since they have single digit for both. I suspect that their HP would go down a few points, but I could be wrong. The Titan gets really screwed, as his single digit MP gets swapped with his double digit HP. All that extra gets shaved off the MP, so he's now down to single digit HP and MP. Net gain, hell yes.

Effect 2: Soldiers probably have a higher ATK than MAG, so they become slightly less effective. As for the Titan, I suspect he's a heavily ATK weighted enemy, so swapping ATK and MAG helps us. If I'm wrong, and he's a MAG weighted enemy, the same thing happens, and we're in the same boat. If I'm totally wrong, and the Titan is a balanced build, swapping ATK and MAG ultimately makes little difference, since they were close in value anyways. I don't think this case is likely, but it's possible. Net gain, likely very positive, but even in the worst case, not negative.

Effect 3: Again, everybody is at full HP, so we're not going to be inadvertently healing anybody. Having clarified with James, what this effect does is take the digits from all the enemies' HP and MP, dumps it in a big pool, then gets output through a string randomizer, and then fills in the enemies HP and MP. Since they can't get bonus HP, the worst case scenario is that the enemies stay at full Health. Potentially, the Titan ends up with way less HP than he should have.

Effect 4: This is basically the whiff effect. Free XP is nice, but not what we need at this moment.

Basically, we have three potentially really good effects here. I say we go for it this round, then Deadpool can start using Bang-Ba-Bang after that. If we get really lucky, we'll be able to end this fight in a round or two (Effect 1, Sora/Riku/Deadpool slaughter everything because everything has Single Digit Health).

The only change from Ristridin's above plan is using THIS IS MY HYPER COMBO instead of Bang-Ba-Bang. Everything else I agree with.
