NaruHina: Good or Bad?

Just as the topic says. Is Naruto and Hinata's hook-up a good thing or a bad thing?

On the one hand you have two characters who will be able to totally rely on each other and help each other grow.

On the other: They have a LOT of enemies who would find this information interesting. Orochimaru and his band of misfits would likely seek to take advantage of this, especially since they (Or at least Oreo knows) that Naruto is the Kyuubi's container. Of course their priority is Sasuke.

Akatsuki is already sending Itachi to try and gain some leverage over them and they are a deadly serious group (the final fight with the Deva Path nonwithstanding :TT_TT: ). Plus you have the fact that they nearly kill Hinata in canon (personally speaking I think they should've started to wrap things up there instead of introducing more men behind the curtain).

The local conspiracy would be the most interested party to learn this information and them learning it isn't so much a question of "if" as it is of "when". Of course seeing Hiashi's reaction will be something that will keep me awaiting new updates. And their reaction again depends on when they learn it. Their support is probably going to back off in a hurry if Naruto beats of Akasuki like in canon, showing that he is in control (relatively speaking) of the Kyuubi.

Also, what do you think the reactions of various characters will be to learning that Konoha's shining example of Everyone Can See It has finally happened?

It's definitely a good thing. All threats to them are now going to be facing a more solid front.

Very true. It is unlikely that Orochimaru or Akatsuki will learn, they don't really strike me as the gossiping types. However, if the conspiracy gets wind of it, Hiashi is going to flip his lid. This would definitely upgrade it from mildly threatening to priority enemy.
