More Than Just A Murder

I can't remember finding any really, truly good fics in FMA fandom. There were some decent ones I suppose, but no FANTASTIC I remember. General rule I heard once: the more unsatisfied the fandom due to unused characters and potential - the better the fics are in general.

That reminds me, do we have a general list for fics good enough, but not plentiful enough to warrant a thread for their specific fandoms?

Learning Curve is a oneshot that I remember liking. Other than that, I think I've read a few Peggy Sues (none anywhere near finished) and some crossovers - I'll try to remember where they were and if any were worth recommending, as well as check out the other nominated stories.

EDIT: None of the ones I can think of really seem worth recommending. The ones that came closest were Marz1's three crossovers and Restitution but (at least in my current mood) none of them make the cut.

It looks like it's been a few years since this thread went up, but I'll second We That Are Young anyway!
