See You In Six Months

Alright, well, figured I'd make a thread just to say goodbye for a bit; on the 14th of September, I ship off to Lackland Air Force Base to undergo Basic Training for the United States Air Force, and then right after that I go to my tech school for Security Forces. It'll be a six month little jaunty, a drop in the bucket in the grand scheme of life but a bit shift, and I just wanted to say I'm going to miss you guys while I'm gone. Viridian Dreams is one of the best communities I've ever been on, full of awesome and creative people that I'm really glad to know.

You guys have really inspired me and being here has improved my writing and general literary skills a fair bit, and it's gotten me motivated to write more than I ever had been. Thanks for that.

So, just saying, see you guys in six months. :P I'll have quite the backlog of Naruto to catch up on when I get back!

Good luck, and remember to pass any BvS characters to others so you'll still have them in six months (I think death from idling occurs at 120+ days idle).

Enjoy your time in the Air Force. You should have gone Army.
Also, I have to punch you, jgkitarel, because I spent a lot of time on the nanoha wiki trying to locate information on mages being trained due to being above a certain rank, only to remember and confirm that you were the one that came up with that. - Phht

Minor update from Base Lib. Some hiccups in training mean I'll be at BMT for a week or so more. Then tech school will have to get figured out. A pain, but at least soon I'll have internet more consistently and be able to write and get my fix of Naruto. Been having withdrawal symptoms.

Hope the training and school works out, but consistent internet and getting back to this slightly crazy friendly place is a good thing. :cheers:

Right, done and graduated. Using the computers at the USO to toss around messages. Tech School next, going to grab a laptop so I can get back into things... like writing! I miss it so.
