Favorite TV Tropes page..

haven't seen one of these yet, so why not? I've recently have a fondness for this page. the names that have been made, while some are sophomoric, have amused me. I'm still laughing over 'The pink roach' 'duckbutt mccrazy' and 'ToMaTo'. enjoy.

From this guy's one post alone I just spent the last forty minutes browsing through, not only that entire section, but most of the linking pages that I didn't quite understand.

Yes, he can say that after just one post.

Hm? Wha? What the?

Well that was a pleasant three hours wasted.
Also, I have to punch you, jgkitarel, because I spent a lot of time on the nanoha wiki trying to locate information on mages being trained due to being above a certain rank, only to remember and confirm that you were the one that came up with that. - Phht

I thought I had escaped after an hour, somehow getting to wrestlemania 26 - undertaker vs shawn michaels, but after watching the match I closed youtube and realised I had forgotten to close all the tropes tabs.

Another hour and I got out though, yay! Ended on the page for Eldritch Abominations.

Oh, I see yall added two more links...

*scratches his head, a little embarrassed*

This has happened to me...with a drink that actually made the bartender go "wut?". Now I'd like to point out something, the drink was a unique combination, my friends and I call it, the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster. Not sure if it's the actual one though, but damn...just damn.

Anyways, back to the topic...Tempting Fate is fun...lots of fun :secret_laugh:

I made my own contributions to that page. Trust me, drinks like the following should not be attempted:

Dog Bowl: Price $50, basically a shot of all the liquor at the bar, served in.... you guessed it.

Evil Fuckmeup: This Drink is evil and it will.... :190 proof alcohol mixed with some type of blue gin, and peppermint schnapps. Tasty, and it creeps up on you.

Dragon somethingorother: Slay it with a straw. You drink it while it's still on fire, through a straw. Not as bad as the previous, but bad enough.

Alien Embryo: Don't ask. If the name doesn't keep you away (like me), you deserve what happens.

I can't resist this.

I've burned many a hours reading just from this one page alone.

Getting Crap Past the Radar

The Avatar the Last Airbender and Animaniacs pages for this trope are particularly entertaining to me.

The Hayes Code did inspire some creativity in some of that stuff. Take a good look at Disney's stuff from before 1968.

Oh I'm well aware man. You want to see one of Disney's worst, go youtube Der Fuerher's Face. Donald Duck cartoon from the forties that won an Oscar. Racism, gay innuendo, and Donald as a Nazi, complete with saluting pictures of Hitler. It was a piece of war propaganda, but still. Definitely one of those things Disney wishes people would forget.

Warner Bros. weren't much better, though Bugs Bunny was on the USMC paybooks as Gunnery Sergeant Bunny, Bugs by the end of the war.

Even being in the Army, I can respect that. I've worked with Gunnys before.

Eh, as cool as having a fictional character on your books may be, it's still not as outlandish as having a real life bear on your payroll.
