So I just found out that there actually is a Halo 4 in the works and it is not just trolls messing with people. I was happy for ten seconds until I learned that Bungie is not making it.

IIRC, something curious happened at E3. Apparently Halo 4 was supposed to be the big surprise of the Microsoft conference... but someone posted the information in the Microsoft website before the conference started, so the surprise was completely spoiled.

Syfy Orders Script Based on DC Comics' 'Booster Gold' (Exclusive)

...yes, yes, a thousand times yes!!! I pray this all works out, and we'll get to see Booster on the big screen. When he's written well, he's such an awesome character to follow.

Syfy is a tv channel, so wouldn't it be on the small screen?

Booster is a pretty great character. Live action super hero tv shows don't have the best history, though. I hope for the best.

It's possible that this might be awesome. It could be like Doctor Who except with more action. And you don't just get the ball rolling on something about Booster Gold without actually having respect for the material. Outside comic reader circles he's not that well known. On his best day he's more of an upper B-list hero.

Also what was up with that universe wide reboot? Did they at least explain it as some kind of cosmic event or did it just happen and they expect us to just choke it down and like it?
