I was reminded of this. If anyone can pull it off, it would probably be those guys.

Don't companies know doing stuff like this is a bad idea by now?

Already been resolved. Hopefully Paypal gets their crap together and makes their guidelines clearer, and knocks some heads in customer support.

Indeed, good friend. Indeed.

Now, anyone want to take any bets on how many pieces our intrepid adventurer will be in?

This is why you bring friends, or other adventurers, with you.
Also, I have to punch you, jgkitarel, because I spent a lot of time on the nanoha wiki trying to locate information on mages being trained due to being above a certain rank, only to remember and confirm that you were the one that came up with that. - Phht

That said, why did I picture the whole scene with "Eye of the Tiger" playing in the background?

So I moved dorms today. The dorm building I was in was closed down and everyone in it got moved elsewhere.
Only I have a problem now. Although I have a wireless Internet connection in my dorm room, for some reason it does not allow me to use Skype. I log in, see others as logged in (and I think they can see me as logged in as well), but no messages load whether incoming or outgoing. Anyone else ever had a problem like this, any suggestions? I do not think the problem is my computer, as Skype worked perfectly fine in my old dorm room just this morning.

I sometimes have an issue like that, but it works out when I shut down Skype and then re-start it. It might be a firewall issue with the new dorm's router.

I don't use Skype, but I've run into similar problems with other programs any time I change IP, or even MAC, addresses. I agree, it's probably a firewall issue with the new router, meaning you will have to reset your settings with a restart. That usually solves most of the problems.

Shutting the program down and restarting it does not seem to have any effect, sadly. Thank you for the advice.

EDIT: Interestingly, I now seem to be getting messages, just at a large time delay.

What? I don't understand what this could be used for, it has no combat application I can see.

Sure it has combat applications! Military people just need to take over the manufacturer, upgrade the system to better distinguish thoughts, and install some sort of transmitter device in the disturbing furry abominations. You can then keep track of potentially disturbed members of society. Or something like that.

Actually, give it a few years, and you might be able to keep track of half the population of Japan. Big brother watching society through the use of cat ears...

On the other hand, how difficult could it be to leap from a mind controlled pair of cat ears to a mind controlled exo-skeleton/armor of massive destruction. I think we just need to give it a decade at most.
