Is Matthew/Viridian/S'Tarkan/Authorlord no longer writing?

Unread postby Blackstone36 » February 8th, 2016, 4:28 pm

I'm recently new to HP: NoFP and have noticed that most of the posts on Viridian Dreams are 6 months+ old. NoFP hasn't been updated since September of 2015. Is Matthew/Viridian/S'Tarkan/Authorlord no longer writing? Has he stopped updating his stories in fan fiction to solely focus on original work? I only ask because I couldn't find any evidence of activity since his last posting of Ch. 42 in NoFP. Just curious. I'm hoping all is well and that he is able to continue posting updates.

He is, it's just the RL concerns always take priority. If there is any plan to discontinue things, or something happens, the information will be put out so we will know.
Also, I have to punch you, jgkitarel, because I spent a lot of time on the nanoha wiki trying to locate information on mages being trained due to being above a certain rank, only to remember and confirm that you were the one that came up with that. - Phht

Thanks for asking!

Matthew has been in and out of the hospital since December 2015 and is currently going through physical rehab to get back on his feet. Due to these medical issues, his writing has not been as prolific as usual. However, the stories are not abandoned, and he will continue to write.

Regarding the original work, the chapters posted on Patreon are from a novel that was complete before the Patreon site was started. So those chapters continue to be posted, but his actual writing time is spent on his current fanfiction stories.

His time and energy have been focused on getting well.
Sincerely,
Lindsey Schocke (aka Runsamok)

I hope he gets well as soon as possible. Please tell him to be easy on himself and take as much time as he needs, his health condition and well-being is more important than any other thing.

Also, my deepest appreciations for the years of him working on the greatest fictions ever. :)
Hope to hear from him soon again.
