I've been playing Batman AA as well. The single best game I've ever played.

I'd be playing Batman AA if DAO hadn't so effectively drew me in though if I can't get out of that stupid sloth abomination trap soon stupid support-type build, handheld-wise Dissidia is occupying me.

Go to the Darkspawn Invasion and acquire Spirit Form for DA:O, after that, it should be fairly easy. Just switch the forms around a bunch in combat and stuff.

I hated that part so much.

Torchlight at the moment. Just picked up Darksiders too, which looks like it's gonna be a blast and a half.

This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — "No, you move."

New Super Mario Bros Wii... and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

The former because it's new and I was feeling nostalgic for a platformer... and the latter because the former made me feel extra nostalgic.

Just a note: I do not recommend STO as an MMO.

One very good reason is that a dev for it says (in an interview) that the average player would take only 80 hours to get to endgame. Endgame consists of team-required Borg missions/fights (basically, 5-man raids) and PvP. Once you hit skill cap, you can't improve any more skills (so you have to really plan what you want to learn so you don't waste any points on your way to cap), so after that you can only improve your Bridge Officer NPCs, get more ships, and get better gear. And you only get two character slots (three once you hit level 6 and unlock Klingons as playable race/faction) so you can't even have one of each profession plus a Klingon. And they'll be adding two more playable races/factions some time after launch. The missions are fairly repetitive - go to this system or planet and scan this many places, and/or destroy this many enemy squadrons, etc - the deep space encounters (small group PvE battle areas) and Fleet Actions (large group PvE missions) are prime grounds for someone to afk level. Getting points in Fleet Actions currently seems overly tilted towards doing damage and not properly rewarding support players.

Klingons apparently also have less content and is PvP-centric. This might be fine, if Klingon ships had better gear and were comparable to Federation ships. But Klingon ships' best punch possible is limited to a 45-180 degree firing arc (more likely 45/90 degree), weaker shields, and weaker hull. Federation ships can equip phaser arrays and the like and enjoy 270 degree firing arcs, and by putting arrays fore and aft, have good DPS in 360 degrees. Starfleet ships also tend to have (outside the escorts) better shields and hull than Klingons.

Oh, and currently auto-fire on ships takes only one forward arc weapon and one aft weapon. So all those higher tier ships that'll have 4-5 (8 on top end crusiers) forward arc weapons that people might pile energy weapons to auto-fire? Get used to hitting the space bar every few seconds or use a third party macro program to automate the space bar press.

Yes, it is still Open Beta, but there was a level cap put in place until some time this week (might still be in place) that capped everyone at Lv16 (out of 45). Open Beta ends early next week IIRC. So there's little or no chance that Tier 4-5 stuff will be Beta'd, and endgame will not be released until after launch. And just how well can you fix repetitive mission issues or the problems with an entire faction when you're having to deal with debugging stuff revealed in Beta? So it doesn't look good for STO overall.

FFXIII, which I wish was in my room so I could play at all hours.

Pokemon Heart Gold, which keeps freezing on me so I might just buy it (besides I kinda want the poke walker)

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (the sky one) because IT'S SO FREAKING CUTE! :mah_(chilling): I'm an eevee~

Picross, because I found it on my old DS card and remembered how addictive it is.

Megaman 10. While I found 9 to be better, this one is soooo fun. :in_love:

Playing as Protoman is great. While he has more abilities than his brother, playing as him requires more technique given the increased damage and recoil. And while the stages don't feel as fresh as the ones in the previous game, I do have found some interesting things here. I just wish the weapon selection was as versatile as the one in 9. Seriously, Triple Blade and Water Shield are the only weapons I use on a regular basis. Everything else is so context sensitive that is almost useless. Easy mode is almost insulting in the lack of challenge, but I suppose that way those who never touched a NES control or a Megaman game in their lifes won't run away scared by the difficulty. Hard mode on the other hand... :want:

Damn! I really miss the NES and SNES days. They just don't make games like that anymore. ...Well, technically, they do as DLC, but while the spirit is certainly there, I just feel it's not the same. OK, I will stop with the cranky gamer rant now, please continue with your lives.

Bayonetta. Wait, is that the one where the lead character has like, incredibly, impossibly long legs and a ridiculous hairstyle, even by JRPG standards?

Cause it looks awesome.

Final Fantasy XIII. I just made it to Chapter Ten, and I'm really enjoying it. It starts out slow, and mostly incomprehensible, but frankly, what Final Fantasy doesn't?

Currently utterly obsessed with Picross 3D. Contemplating Infinite Space and trying to figure out if I should just keep track of in-game events or just go buy a copy of Pkmn:SS. I am loath to do so because I'm just propagating the battered wife syndrome and it's $4o.oo, but I don't really care to keep counting up to twenty-four just to reset the DS.

AGHOFAHGOFDSUIHFDS!!!!! IT COMES IN 3D!? *Rushes off to her rom site*

I think I'm going to just buy Heart Gold. Stupid rom keeps freezing (it's karma) and I kind of want the pokewalker

I'm up to Hope's house in FFXIII, so not that far, damn living room TV.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uu3Lg_436YQ Here's a trailer of the game. It should be illegal how addicting it is.

Also regarding the freezing for the Pkmn games, I've read that the game freezes after every twenty-four in game events. For example: talking to someone, battling, entering a building. Essentially any manner of interaction.

Must be a "porting" problem; I've had Zero troubles on my DS... and it's not even one of the new DSes.

Hence the "porting" problem. "Porting" it from the DS to the PC.
