Scheduling

Scheduling

Unread postby bibliophile20 » October 15th, 2008, 6:31 pm

Alright, Matt asked me to post what times I'm available for gaming over VoIP.

Given that I'm unemployed and on sabbatical from school, it'll be easier to list the times I'm not available:
Monday, Meeting & random gaming from 7:00 onwards
Wednesday, Meeting at 7:00
Thursday, Game from 7:00 onwards
Friday, Game from 7:00 onwards
Saturday, Dagohir from 10:00 a.m. to indeterminate

The next few days, however, are tricky; I had to reschedule my game for Friday, moving it to Saturday evening, and I have family coming up to visit Sunday afternoon.

Aside from that, however, I'm free.

As far as scheduling goes I'm free most evenings after 6:30-7:00pm CST, pretty much any time during the weekend is free as well.

Edit:

Brian (Kodra) says that he's available after 6:00pm EST Mon-Thur and the occasional weekend, though that's iffy.

Hello,

Joseph, your post confused me. You said you are posting when you aren't available ... and then say you are otherwise free.
Given that I'm unemployed and on sabbatical from school, it'll be easier to list the times I'm not available:
Monday, Meeting & random gaming from 7:00 onwards
Wednesday, Meeting at 7:00
Thursday, Game from 7:00 onwards
Friday, Game from 7:00 onwards
Saturday, Dagohir from 10:00 a.m. to indeterminate
When it comes to scheduling, just say when you are available. I can't tell if the gaming references above mean that you are involved in several games and when you are or aren't available those days.

So, Joseph, from the above info, can I infer that you are likely to be available on Tuesdays, some indeterminate time on Saturdays, and Sundays?

What about everyone else? Kodra? Where did you disappear to? We haven't heard from you for most of a week.

Basically, discussing when we'll next game at the end of our session (especially if everyone isn't involved in that session) isn't working for me. I'd like to know more than 24 hours ahead of time when I'll need to run an adventure for the next game.

I'd *like* to arrange for one or two gaming sessions a week for the whole group.

So... post!
Sincerely,
Lindsey Schocke (aka Runsamok)

I am available reliably Monday-Thursday 7 PM EST-12:30 PM EST. Beyond that I am likely not able to play.

I can say with certainty that I can meet this schedule. This monday was a major anomoly for me because of getting engaged this weekend. Honestly I don't recall saying I'd be available on Friday (but I don't remember saying I wouldn't be available and I'm pretty sure I didn't mention that). If I did, I'm very sorry. I knew I wouldn't be available and while I like to think I wouldn't mislead you guys like that, I'm sorry if I did.

That said, if you need to play on weekends and you need me there it's very unlikely I'll be able to commit. I haven't spent a weekend at my apartment in over 2 months between visiting friends, family and my fiance.

Alright, times I'm going to be available in the evenings, as of next week:
Sunday, 1:00 P.M. onwards.
Monday, not available.
Tuesday, not available.
Wednesday, 5:00 P.M. onwards.
Thursday, not available.
Friday, not available.
Saturday, 4:00 P.M. onwards.

This is until mid-December, when winter break kicks in and I'll be available almost every night.

Unless work interferes on a specific day, I'm available at around 6:30-7:00pm EST every night during the week and most of the day during the weekend.

Matthew doesn't need to post his availability, since it's going to match mine.

Sorry, I am, the original schedule above holds for this week; the meeting on Wednesday is getting rescheduled starting next week for Tuesday night. I am available for tonight, but will not be available Wednesday, Thursday, Friday this week.

I'm usually available after 7 on weeknights Eastern time, but I have a rotating Duty day where I have to stay onboard the ship for 24 hours, which has no wireless access, and thus no Skype. This week it falls on Thursday, next week is Wedsnday, after that is Tuesday, and so on and so forth. Weekends, I'm pretty much a social hermit, so I'll be free from whenever to whenever.

Ok, our discussion about scheduling evolved into this:

Matthew is running an adventure this week on Wednesday and Thursday.
Friday no gaming.
Saturday, Lindsey is running Battle of the Bands.

Next week Torbin will be running an adventure on Wednesday Nov 5th.

Joseph is planning to run an adventure sometime in December?

Alright, what are the plans for Thanksgiving week(end)?

I'm not going to be able to play. I'm heading to Cleveland on Wednesday and I won't be back to Rochester until Sunday. While I am taking my laptop with me, the damn thing has already proven that it's not up to the task of running Skype, Maptools and Firefox at the same time (bloody POS Vista...). So I'm out for next week's gaming.

I'll be on duty that Saturday, but Sunday is free for me.

Thanksgiving vacation is going to be with my family, so I will probably not be able to make any of those sessions.
