That was pretty much my thinking as well. Seemed to be a fairly clear hint to a Ravenclaw. Remember also the attack that damaged Harry's broom during a match, and all the Slytherins' wands being check, and coming up neg. Sure, Slytherins are ambitious and cunning, but Ravenclaw feels a bit more... cerebral. Sure, it could easily be Slytherin though.
