I have been having some health issues lately. Nothing life-threatening, but a lot of minor things dragging me down, making it hard to breathe easily, sleep, etc.
Let me once again say… Gout sucks!
On the plus side, I seem to be getting the edema back under control again.
So… still working on plot elements for Viridian Twilight. (Why is the middle always the hardest?)
Really need to get healthy and recharge my proverbial batteries though…

It’s getting close to the end of ’23 and I know I’m not the only one hoping that you folks are okay. What few sites I know you use–Patreon, FB, Twitter–are looking more and more like ghost towns and it’s kind of worrisome in light of your various problems.
Anyway, whether you’re still writing or not, please consider tossing us a bone and letting us know that you’re at least still alive (or undead but loving it).
I just finished rereading “Nightmares of Futures Past” yet again. I expect I’ll keep coming back to it as the years go on. I hope you are well, Matthew, and that you are writing. You know as well as any of your readers that this story demands an ending. For my money it’s the “Neon Genesis Evangelion: Genocide” of Harry Potter fanfiction. Good luck.
